Fish Icon It has been almost 20 days since we completed "Does cooled microwaved water harm aquatic life?" The two tanks are doing fine. Tank A has a little algae growing on the plants, and I noticed that tank B has a little algae growing on the plants, too, but that's not a problem. There are not any dead fish since we quit the experiment. The fish are active, healthy, and are growing bigger every day. The plants are growing a lot. Here are some pictures of the two tanks.

Tab B Rotala Indica (Rotala indica) plant.

Rotala Indica (Rotala indica) in tank B. The plants are still doing fine.

Tank A Bacopa Plant (Bacopa monnieri) plant.

Bacopa Plant (Bacopa monnieri) in tank A. The fish are so active you can't see them, because they look like blurs.

This site, and it's sister site, Eclectic Science Network, are currently an archive for our past projects. There is no plan to add new material to these sites, but I feel the projects are worth keeping on line for poeple to view, and perhaps expand on our ideas. Thanks for visiting.

New material can be found on our active classroom website at Tree Frog Journal.
